The recent inauguration of our new medical areas marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare. The opening of our new hospital area is a testament to our continuous growth and dedication to service. Equipped with two state-of-the-art operating rooms, eight modern rooms, and the implementation of the intensive care unit (ICU) and emergency unit, this expansion represents the most notable achievement since the inauguration of our first tower in 2019. Furthermore, we are proud to announce the launch of our imaging unit, the most complete and modern in the entire province, as well as our strategic partnership with a prestigious laboratory in the city of Manta. The expansion of our dialysis unit, along with the opening of the gastroenterology unit, completes our offering of cutting-edge medical services, supported by renowned specialists from Quito and the province of Manabí. These advancements add to the existing medical services of oncology, rehabilitation, sports medicine, ophthalmology, and maxillofacial surgery that were already available at our facilities, reaffirming our commitment to the comprehensive health of our patients. Looking ahead, our focus is on planning for Tower 3 of Manta Hospital Center, which will include new state-of-the-art facilities such as four additional operating rooms, thirty-two rooms, a modern emergency area, and innovative medical and business units, with the active participation of the physician shareholders of our center. Who We Are Manta Hospital Center At Manta Hospital Center, we are dedicated to establishing an innovative hospital management model as our primary activity. Our medical complex is designed as three independent buildings that are architecturally connected to each other, reflecting our comprehensive vision of healthcare. The first two phases of our project focus mainly on real estate development, with a strong emphasis on building medical offices. In addition, we have integrated specialized areas such as rehabilitation, laboratory, gastroenterology, imaging, and day hospital to offer a complete range of medical services. These two phases represent the fundamental foundation of our project, housing the human and medical talent that will be crucial to driving the third tower, which will be primarily focused on hospital care. Manta Hospital Center The Promoter Group subjected the project to an intensive redesign phase after the earthquake that affected the province in April 2016, which resulted in a significant increase in the originally planned construction area. Once the redesign process was completed, construction work on Manta Hospital Center resumed in January 2018. In 2019, the first phase of the project was inaugurated, welcoming nearly fifty medical specialists who joined the project, as well as the laboratory area, physical rehabilitation, and sports medicine. In 2021, following some setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the second phase of the hospital was completed, which included new medical specialists and key medical units such as oncology, ophthalmology, and maxillofacial surgery. In 2023, we took another step forward in our journey with the opening of the hospitalization areas, operating rooms, intensive care unit (ICU), emergency services, gastroenterology unit, and the most modern imaging unit in the province. In this way, we have built our dream: to become a comprehensive healthcare organization with a leadership projection in Manabí. We are now planning the third phase of Manta Hospital Center with new and advanced medical infrastructure.prestigious laboratory in the city of Manta.
